I have an 88 528E that recently the ABS activates when stopping at 3mph or slower. Its is more annoying than anything as it still stops fine. I removed both front sensors and cleaned the metal shavings off but can't tell if it is a bad sensor or something else.

Anyone have an idea how to test which sensor is failing? or if it something else? The Abs seems to work fine in slippery conditions at regular speeds.
