Yet again, same topic but i thought i start a new thread to share the experiences of an owner who got those flaps...

So the top is easy. I quote Bimmer06530i:

The top clips are the easiest. When you open up the hood you will see a 2 inch by the width of the section that goes across the front of the car above the grill area(maybe 40? to 48?). Lift (pinch) up from one of the ends the rubber seal across the width of the top of the where the front grills are. Under that you will see the six easy to reach clips, three each.

So my experience after this point is:

once the top ones have been released, just full the grill towards you with brutal force. the grills came off immediately, on each side one of the side clips broke off.

With those flaps, you have no chance to access the other clips, other to pull with brutal force...

Putting on the new grills was not a big deal either, just clicked them on (real plug & play unlike microsoft) and viola, you have a different grill...

greetings from vienna
