i have fitted a xenon kit on my e60 the lights start to do a strobe affect after the engine is started is there a way to disable this by ncs?

i have the error decoders fitted so no error for bulb out

once let to settle for 5-10 seconds they stay on fine and when engine is off they light up fine every time

Howdy Bally!, they do that even on OEM bulbs, it`s the igniter lighting up the gas.

Is it the bulb flickering and how noticeable is it?

I was under the impression that good kits and bulbs will not do that.

hi blood its like a sos light they flash go off flash go off and eventually they will come on stable

only happens when the engine is started then they are turned on

if i turn them on postion 2 they power up and then i start the car they are fine

they flicker on and off for 5 seconds or so

Yeah, I don't think they are suppose to. Sounds like ballast is having trouble stabilizing current, or the bulbs are just cheaply made.

I researched around on the net it says the lma module causes this as the ballasts try and draw too much power at startup and the when the car is started it is checking the connections ad headlight system
