Hi Gents,
I found a couple of recommendation from bimmersforum, but might be too weak or overkill for our E60 task. What's your recommendation and model you're using?

Thanks,
Fred

I probably should be using something better but I have been getting by with a 6 amp "smart" kind of charger. The 6 amps can barely keep up if I am doing a lot of light stuff but if I limit myself I can do what I want and then I just leave it connected until it shows a full charge. After you get past the initial "learning" stage and changing the popular items, there isn't a whole lot left to do other than experimenting in trying to get something to work that hasn't been validated and posted by someone else.

Fred, I'm using a 12V40A purchased from ebay in Germany - 120euros
Keeps up with everything I throw at it. As mentioned above - if you're likely to spend some time experimenting (like me) or get into programming as well, it's a very good idea to have the juice safely available.

Many thanks, NoQuarter and Andy!
I got cable ordered (on its way), and will start "experimenting" when all stuffs are in placed.

Cheers,
Fred
