First thanks goes to the pioneering efforts to MiamiPhil. His post was invaluable. Seen here Phils Post
I finally got the courage to do my own oil change. I recorded my efforts today and hope you all enjoy!
I have to warn you that I could not yet shrink the file down to a small size. This is a rather large video and about 25 minutes long. Please only view it if you want to really see it. I look forward to all your comments!
Cheers,
N

My Ride: 2004 BMW 530i - no mods. Pretty basic really. I mean it has tires, windows, and a sweet look, what more could a man want? Honestly, I'd like to improve the sound system mildly, and possibly find a worthy engine mod that would increase my BHP by 100 without giving an arm and a leg for. I don't think it's out there, so I'll stay stock and love driving my 530i.

That is toooo F'ing funny. I have changed my oil 100's of times on every car that I own and never once did I ever think to tape it. I do have to say I was very impressed that you had the beer during the process. An oil change just isn't the same w/out beer.

Wow, I wish you would have served popcorn.
This really was a thriller. The height of suspense was when the camera panned to the 'murdered filter' and all of the rags on the floor that revealed someone was trying to clean up the bloody mess. Didn't see that coming...
Also, smart move on the double gloves -- makes the detective work more difficult.
A 'comedic spin' to the whole thing would have been if the car didn't start. That would have been a hanger...
On a more serious note, thanks for the oil change video!
