Hi, I am building a nice garage cabinets along with work bench. Next step to buy some good quality tools with reasonable price, I would primarily use it for E6 DIY. Can you suggest some good tools and place to buy, either online or brick and mortar shops?

Got most of tools at Harbor Freight and some additional sockets and wrenches at Sears since it's right by my home. For the price, can't beat Harbor Freight.

Thanks for the reply GENEaTALS, I just bought the trim removal along with 'BMW 5 Series Service Manual 2004 - 2010 - Bentley Publisher' from Amazon.

I like Craftsman or Gearwrench. Gearwrench makes a really nice, 72-teeth ratchet. Their ratcheting wrenches are second-to none, IMHO.

I was at Lowe's the other day and it looks like the Kobalt line has been revamped. The tools look to be very well made, and the return policy is liberal as well.

Personally, I use Harbor Freight and Northern Tool for tools that I'm going to use one time or not very often. I bought a heat gun that I needed for one project and it did the job, but I'm not going to be passing the tool down to my son like the other tools that I have.

+1 inexpensive tools can get you thru a one and done job ... be careful with bits and sockets that are too soft and might round off instead of removing / tightening a critical nut / bolt / fastener. IMHO these are not the kind of tools that you'd want to rely on for ever and ever!
