Just picked up my ACS front and rear lips and am wondering if there are any suggestions for making the install flawless?
Should I use the bonding glue that comes with the kit or should I purchase the betalink stuff from BMW? Should I remove 3M bra first? What is the best way to remove the 3M clear bra from the original front spoiler? Just curious what others experienced while attempting this feat! Thanks!

I think the bonding glue will prevent you from taking off the spoilers when it comes time to sell the car...I would use 3M double sided molding tape..that's what I did

And I would just keep the 3M Clear Bra on...

Hope this helps

Really 3M tape?? Will it hold it on through high speeds, car washes, and cold winters? What type of 3M tape did you use?

Not sure about the cold winters.....but mine held through car washes and at high speeds also...

I used the 3M molding tape you can get at local auto parts store here's a pic:

I used 3M too. I bought the 3M industrial strength double side tape. It's black and the adhesive protective layer is red. That stuff is amazing! I used it foir my spoiler, front lip, and rear lip and I tested its strength. I pulled and pushed on my spoiler with my car in neutral and it pushed and pull the car like it's part of the car. To remove the spoiler, I started off with one corner and slowly pulled the spoiler off. Piece of cake!

Thanks for the info. I was told by a local body shop that the tape will not likley hold during the winter? It gets cold up north here! Do you get any lifting after some time? Do have to re-tape it down?
