hey guys i just placed an order for some h&r sport springs with nerweezy and wanted to see if anyone has any suggestions or tips to make the install easier, noway am i going to pay for 3-5 hours of labor that i was quoted to do the job, ive done this on my e46 in the past multiple times and already know the rear should be very simple, the front on the other hand i heard can be tricky. i searched but didnt really find any DIY's here.
thanks |

Do you mind sharing what obstacles you came across?
Here my best advice. http://www.bmwdiy.com/page/Installing-HR-L...0-3-Series.aspx Follow all of those steps it basically almost exactly like doing the 3 series. Not sure about the rears because those were just a pain. But after seeing this site the fronts were a piece of cake. |
I should have a post on my experience somewhere dude. but like Jrowe said...good luck youll need it. front AND back is freakin hard dude. dont compare the LCI E60's to an E46.

you drive a complicated luxury sedan and you think a spring install should be easy? ha just pay the money and have it done right. if you mess it up its on you for thousands of dollars but a shop will warranty their work
