Same process as every other spring. Since you're tackling this job, I would assume you've done it before. Just look into the BMW procedure before you do it in case there are "special" things they recommend. The front end is going to be tedious where the thrust arm and wheel carrier join.

If you dont weigh more than 200 pounds i would recommend having a friend near by. I had to put all of my body weight + a friends weight on the strut/rotor assembly in order to get the top of the strut to clear the fenders. I also had the spring compressors on so that will give you a good idea of how much force you need.

very helpful links. Refreshing the suspension is always money well spent.

Give me the last 7 digits of your VIN and I'll see if there are any special procedures for you. Also send me a PM when you reply because i'm not here everyday.

Hello,

A friend with E61 2005 want to retrofit "$226 SPORTS SUSPENSION SETTINGS".

For the rear, I just need coding in EHC ecu, with ncs, a new ride-level ?

Does your friends car have air springs or something?
