Finally finished successfully SCA retrofit for my 2004 E60. There was a lot of work, but certainly worth the effort.

The pictures are not very explanatory, but I'll try to give a little explanation of what was done. Feel free for any questions!

+ Pin 31 connected to pin 7 of the black 10-pin connector in the trunk
- Connect to the existing ground, pin 30

Passenger:

- Pin 30 (connected to the ground point in the trunk)

The soft close function is excellent! I just ordered the core parts of the soft close lock. I don't know what 10 pin connector is. Hermman said there is a part number about connections (61 13 8 364 520). Do I need to buy this?

I believe if you read Hermann's (Alex) pdf carefully you will get everything you need to know for the installation. To be trully honest because i didn't have the knowledge to disassemble the car's door panels, trims and all that stuff, i have collected all the parts needed and asked from an official bmw dealer to do it for me. Because it's not an official retrofit from bmw, i had to give them every part for themselves (even the diagram from WDS and the DIY.pdf retrofit from my good friend Alex)

I made some confusing. My car is RHD car. So which one is correct for the driver door(right hand door)?

+ Pin 31 connected to pin 7 of the black 10-pin connector in the trunk ?

or

+ Pin 31 connected to pin 8 of the black 10-pin connector in the trunk ?
