I have a November 2003 built model.

Just stand on the option in idrive and then press the round navigate button i believe.

Okay, that works for your car in Europe but not true in USA.

I've successfully reset my oil change, microfilter, etc. reminders and understand the process, but I'm still getting the red "replace your rear brake pads" notice after replacing them. When I try to reset it shows the -15,000 miles notice. Has anyone determined how to reset it when you are getting this?

I cant seem to reset them the same way as the others, they just pop back to the exlemation mark instead of showing reset.

Does anyone have any idea?

Edit: I believe its called "Inspection" in english systems.

Check in the idrive, go to the services information and select the Exhaust Emissions test, Push the controller down and this can be changed by selecting it and changing the date. Should be the same for the Annual check..
