We purchased our car in Sweden where we lived before, and got all our options from factory, as usual..

But here in Denmark, it's cheaper to get equiptment like; Leather seats, Advance A/C and Pro nav retofitted, due to the taxes we have on our cars here...

So the danish dealers are good at retrofitting equitment, because they do it on almost every E60 they sell here...

When you retrofit the Logic 7 amp (located in the trunk, right?), disconnect your battery, and visit some friendly dealer afterwards, and ask if they wanna "add the FA-code" so the car knows it has Logic 7...

Do you have HIFI upgrade now ? Or just standard sound system ? Are there any subwoofers under the frontseats in the basic system ?
Hmm, how much did it cost in total? It might be worth a trip across from the UK to get this done; it's already a lot cheaper to get your car serviced by a French BMW dealer than to have it serviced in the UK.

My Ride: Nov 2003 530D SE Auto in Mystic Blue with Grey Dakota Leather, Business Nav. Star Spoke 124 18"s, Blootooth Preperation. Modifications so far: M5 spoiler, M5 trunk finisher, hometronic rear view mirror, Maple Wood interior trim. Mods to come: M5 style quad exhaust and M5 rear bumper, Dechroming, black ebay grilles, tints, upgrade to factory amp, by the time I've done these, I'm sure I'll have thought of some more....

would there be any chance of you finding out a price for us on the logic 7 retrofit in denmark? dealers here are very unhelpful with anything out of the ordinary for them. might be worth the trip for me!

I retrofited the L7 amp but went back to HiFi causse the SWS'ers dont play that nice, could not set the bass to my taste. Check post #48

Yourre gonna have to route fiberoptic from the HU to the trunk.

PS: If someone is interested i have all the parts for sale: L7 amp, fiberoptic, and all necessary plugs.

I don't imagine you would still have the equipment lying around...

Sas hasn't posted in over 3 years, so I doubt it. You might try sending him a PM. That might alert his private email that he has a message.
