Hi, just follow the steps in the video and the oil mileage counter will be reset to 15K (I believe), only reset the specific counters that you want.

The only way to do it before its due is with a laptop that has DIS v57 or ISTA/D loaded on to it.

The cluster method will not work if the service is not due (below 1000 miles).

Ahh that's why! thanks blood. still keeps saying "okay" when i'm trying to reset. i did a brake fluid flush when it was due and i was able to reset it through the dashboard procedure, when i try to reset the brakefluid keeps saying okay. i didn't know you can not manually reset if it's not yet due. what's the noramlly value for oil change when it's reset? i can't recall the last time i change the oil, im not using this car much.

Is there a way to change the computer from the 15k interval to a more realistic 4-6k intervaL?

I just did my oil and it went back to 17k but that's for a diesel engine.
