Remove "A" Pillars

My Ride: BMW 535xi
Model Year: 2008
Can one dye or replace the 2 "A" Pillars to be dark/black? How can I remove them without breaking them? This relates to a 535xi Cream Beige. Thanks.

As far as changing the color, I suppose you could have them dyed but you could also possibly just buy the anthracite or black cover from BMW and install them.
