Rear View Mirror repair

Good day guys, my rear view mirror dropped down a couple days ago. Anyone has any idea how to fix this. Tried an adhesive from NAPA and it didnt work any other suggestions?

Since the holder for the mirror i glued from the factory, I am sorry to say I think the only option is to buy a new windshield
