Radar Detector DIY?

My Ride: BMW e60
Model Year: 2006
Hey guys, I just got a vector955 radar detector and wanted to install it just beside the rear view mirror. Is there a DIY on how to run the 12V wire through the roof or the panels and have it end up under the passenger side glove box where the connector is?

I've once seen a portable GPS installed with wires running to the back of the center console for the outlet. Do a quick search on that.
