I already posted same topic in part & accs category, but this one looks more active so that I post here again.

If this topic does not match here, I will remove.

I just joined here to get some information from you, E60 speciallists.
I am selling some items, and my buyers advised I can get lots of answers here from E60 enthusiasts.

Today, I got a question asking about installation this xenon headlight to 2004 non-LCI body.
This one is sold for LCI body 2006~2009.

I don't know how to install this to non-LCI, but assume there might be a way to install because LCI tail light can be installed using Bruce Cable.
If you know some way to install, please let me know. Thank you.

One more question,

I sold euro version LED tail light to buyer in Indonesia.
Since his BMW is not LCI, I recommended to buy Bruce Cable together, but neglected.

Now, he is struggling to connect 7 pins in the tail light with 6 pins in his BMW by trial & error.
(Without luck, he needs to try more than 5000 times.)

I would like to help him. Is there any method without spending money? ( He said a little strobe will be fine.)

Really appreciate your replies in advance.

PS: how to arrange these pictures up & down?????

does that headlight have the adaptive function (or active steering), not sure how u call it but basically the light goes to the direction you turn. i just bought a pair of headlight n taillight. same as urs. but my headlight's hight beam doesnt have the projector on it. how come?

and how much did u get those for?

anyway, the tail light can easily be installed using bruce's cable. 2ndly, the headlight is more a nightmare to install, which takes about 4-5 hours to install it. bcus im doing the same thing as ur ( installing LCI headlight into non-lci model). u need some relays, wires, a part from the dealer and a thing...that i forgot what it is.

im not doing the retrofit myself, a friend of mine will do it himself bcus he did it for his e60. well, if u need some more info, pm me! and rmber to tell me how much u got those for n does that headlight's high beam equipped wif projector or not!

Thank you for info.

No easy way for headlight.

Anyway, As I mentioned, it's not for my use, it's for selling.

Though, no adaptive control.

If I find the one with adaptive, I will let you know.

thank you.

For the LCI lights headlights to work, you must wire them to your rear LCI lights. No need for Bruce Cable. And the dealer needs to program it for you! I'm sorry, there is no way to use those LCI headlights without programming!
