Post 09/05 m5 wheel in pre 09/05 545

before anyone flames and says search i have searched and i have very rarely started a topic so if im starting one is because i cant find my answers i have come across the chance of purchasing a post 09/05 m5 steering with paddle shifts for what seems a good price i know to make it fit in my pre 09/05 545 i have to make some modifications on the rear side of the steering wheel no problem my issue is the current wheel i have on my 545 is heated and the m5 steering wheel isnt will this bring any kind of issues ?if so is there any way around it i dont want to shell out all this money to find out its not possible to have it done also has anyone gone from a heated steeering wheel to a non heated steering wheel? thanks for your input guys

Hi what about aftermarketbulbsshop.com since their selling the kit probably they know about it?

hey there mike... I actually did that mod myself. You will lose the heated option when you move to the paddle shifters anyway so you are good to go and it won't cause any errors etc.
