Yes REALLY INTERESTED PLEASE

This painting has been always a problem, I?m a guy that tryes everything itself before going elsewhere. This painting has always been pain in the a_s .
I have always refused to believe it?s so hard that it cannot be done by self, I believe those painters are also humans

I would suggest 3 step guide:

1. Choosing proper gear, probably some have some kompressor and hoses already so instruct of choosing decent price sprayers etc.
Choosing paint and clear cout etc and needed environment.
2. How to prepaire pieces for painting
3. Painting technique itself. How many layers, how thick and drying time between, also for clear coat...

Parts could be e.g. some slitter or bumper and also some interior parts like trims..
Maybe even some advice mixing some black paint and clear cout to shadow back lights

Thanks for helping us DIY?s OUT !!

I just did this to my motorcycles fuel tank:

Painting DIY-pb080356.jpg
Painting DIY-pb080369.jpg

It was Black Denim (Flat Black) and I removed the OEM tank emblems, bought new ones and installed them. I bought 1/8" masking tape and designed the flames. I had a pro actually spray Pewter Denim, Denim Clear and then had it pinstriped in white.

My front E60 wheels have brake dust buildup. Would like help in refinishing those.
