Painted pinstripe removal

Well, with the information I got from this video
, I braved the pinstripe removal. I was nervous because one paint guy told me the stripe was below the clear coat but everyone I talked to said BMW doesnt do pinstripe at the factory. Either way mine is gone now! 
I just did the same thing as the video described and I couldnt be happier! Looks much better with the pinstripe gone and I cant even see a shadow. No pics right now as my car is in the garage with no body kit on it because its getting repainted right now to better match the car. Only recommendation I have which wasnt clear on the video is to get at least 8 buffing pads because they go out pretty easy...
