Someone requested info on my painted calipers... I thought I posted this before, but couldn't find it in the DIY section. For those that want to DIY caliper... Below are some pictures that will help. I used a wire brush, steel wool, and an assortment of fine smelling chemicals to clean the calipers. The caliper paint is a thick brush-on high-gloss paint made by duplicolor. The labels... Hmmm... I think they came from a guy on E-Bay. After applying the stick-on labels, I applied a high-gloss automotive clear coat over the decals. After one year of driving, everything still looks new.

I wonder...did you remove the calipers and clips to paint, or tape around the entire process to paint? I'm thinking removing the caliper might be fastest, more comfortable, and better able to cover the entire caliper. Thoughts?....
