Hi guys, I recently purchased both the BMW paint stick set and the touch-up pen(autovisual.com) to repair some minor paint chips and scratches. Which one is recommended? Any suggestions?

Hey, I used the set from BMW and got great results. Just clean well and add very, very small amounts and build up. Usually a drop is waaaaaaay too much. good luck.

...............and find out about wet sanding . You can get fantastic results by building up the touch up paint slightly above the clearcoat them wetsanding it down , then adding a drop of clearcoat or just polish it out then wax ,,, good luck

Build it up a little high and then when the paint is tacky take a piece of cloth dipped in Enamel Reducer wrapped around a credit card (so it conforms to any curves in the body) and wipe off the excess. If you do it right (only wipe once and in one direction), you will not have to sand out the spot and it will not have any affect on the original paint.

yeap. that's the right way to do it, but requires a lot of patience and skill. Not for everyone.

BUY THE TOUCH UP KIT FROM BMW CODE 354 ALSO BRINGS CLEAR COAT, INSTEAD OF USING BRUSH FOR THE TOUCH UP USE THE HEAD OF A FIRE MATCH TO TOUCH UP.
