As i was parking my car in my garage, I noticed the lights were kinda yellowish white.
I look in the forum, but didnt find anyone who switched xenon lights to HID kit. (or did i not search enough ? )
Please give me a feedback if I should switch it or just stay with my xenons.

-has anyone tried the HID kit from bimmian.com ?

Stock Xenon's are rated at 4300k (at least for 04 & 05, not sure about the other years)...From what i hear, a 6000k rated unit will give the best usable light output. I'm in the process of getting my 6000k from elite_motorsports (fellow member). Many members here have upgraded their xenon's to 6000k and many who have chosen a higher rating. And although a higher rating unit will emit some cool looking colors (i think a 8000k is blue and 10000k is purple ), there might be some sacrifice on light output.

I'm sure the 4300k are the best for light output. They can appear to be very slightly yellow and many choose 5 or 6k ones as they 'look better'. It's also becoming evident that over the years the std xenon bulbs do loose some effectiveness and replacing them with new can get them back to the way they were new.

Heard a few Audi S3 owners having to replace their bulbs to pass the yearly MOT test as they were too dim!!
