Default O2 sensors pre-CAT 650mm??

OK, ......am replacing my right side pre cat sensor and old one has wiring length 650mm like it states in realoem, RealOEM.com BMW E60 545i Exhaust manifold with catalyst
but two of my parts suppliers provided me with a BMW P/N 11787516150 one from BOSCH and another from NGK with cables 300 mm longer...what gives??

Hate to hide 30 cm of wiring there in severe tight spaces but seems have no other option, also assuming the two sensors are identical for left and right sides why is the right side (one in my case of course the gone bad one...LOL) $60 more than the left one, surely it is not because the wiring is 30mm shorter???
Especially not when I am getting 300mm more I don't need for the right side.

I'm preparing to do the two pre-cat sensors, did the post-cat months ago which were easier. I need to remove the reinforcement plate under the engine to get access. I might go to the hobby shop on base (32nd Naval Sta.) for the lift. I'm pretty sure I got the correct parts for the sensor; the black one is longer than the grey one. Good luck

O2 Sensor – R Pre cat (Black) - BOSCH 17 208 11787516150 $168.93

O2 Sensor – L Pre cat (Grey) – BOSCH 17 290 11787521705 $144.05

Default O2 sensors pre-cat replace write up

So am done , wrapped the extra wiring around another nearby cable wrap, and willl have to do, both BOSCH and NGK have "exact" OEM replacements for part no. 11787516150, that are 950mm instead of with the 650mm realoem lists.
Decided to take some pics as my Bentley is useless for this job and this might be of help to some of you attempting this.
After removing both the splash shields underneath, remove that frame support with the 5 10mm bolts those bolts you need to get from the dealer as they should not be re-used. I did try to remove the sensor from below and using 22 inces of flex joint extensions on my 3/8 " socket set attached to the special O2 sensor wrench but no way was this baby going to move. So forget about all that just remove the front wheel and unscrew the two screws holding the splash shield behind the front shock and you can drop that small piece of plastic down and out of your way so you can see the sensor and have room to place a regular open wrench on it or even a pipe wrench if need be.
I had to take hammer and chisel to get the sensor to move the first bit of a turn to get it loose, she was in there pretty well seized good.
Pics should explain.......
Good luck

+1. So I don't have to take the splash shield and reinforcement plate down and just access the sensors via the wheel wells, with front wheels removed of course. Thanks .

You will still have to remove those as well to plug in the new sensor!.
