My Ride: 2005 545i loaded
Default

I recently purchases a 2005 545i (first BMW) and must say I love the ride and power this vehicle delivers. I do not drive the car in the winter as it has never been exposed to the salt and it's ready for a new set of tires. I do enjoy taking it out when the roads are clear as it does have the winter package.

THE PROBLEM:

The driver?s side heat does not work, but the passenger side works properly. Last I drove it in the cold I noticed the driver?s side heat would get warmer as I was driving/accelerating, but once still/stopped it would get cool again. Looking forward to replies and fixing this myself if possible? Thanks

congrt. for the new ride ...

maybe there is a problem with the air flaps ,, there is nothing you can do by yourself , you need a good diagnostics tool ( like GT1 ) for example , and you can test each flap individually .

I'm sure someone will give a better info's anyway .. good luck

Thanks for the reply and tip. I was told by some local friends that may be the issue and I intend to obtained a diagnostic tool like you recommended.

Cheers
