Need input on changing the front bumper cover!

My Ride: 2004 530i, Silver Gray, Premium Pkg, Cold Weather package, Black Leather seats with lumbar support, Poplar wood finish.
Mods: M6 19" wheels with 245/35/19 Front Tires 275/30/19 Rear Tires, K&N Filter, H&R Sway bars, Magnaflow Muffler, Sprint Booster, Black front grill, M-tech front bumper, Debadged
I have a 04'530i. Planning to replace my front bumper cover with another used, instead reparing the dings I have on mine.
I would like to do this myself instead of paying $$$ to a shop. I have already seen the TIS on this thread -

My question is: has anyone changed the OEM front bumper cover on their own and how hard is it? the used bumper I am planning to get has one or two slots on either side broken (from the previous uninstall), so will it not hold?
any inputs will help .. thanks in advance!
