OK, so I will apologize in advance if this is a dumb question

I got the low brake fluid message from my iDrive a couple of days ago. I thought it would be easy to just get some brake fluid from the dealer and add it to the brake fluid reservoir. BUT WHERE THE HECK IS IT?????

Looking at my manual I see it is located behind the microfilter cover. After taking the cover off, all I see is the bottom plate for the filter cover.

When I started to take the plate off. it was not obvious which screws to remove.

Am I heading in the right direction? Any sugguestions

Thanks in advance!!!!!

I'd take it into the dealership for a top off. Usually wont require an appointment.

You?re in the right area...

Check out this photo from MidnightRider you can see the Master cylinder and reservoir (normally hidden under the Microfilter) behind the strut.

Low fluid, Check for leaks or it's a sign of worn brake pads.
