I have a 2004 530i american model. I can get the M5 shifter and smg base for about $700. Did anyone do this conversion and was there any problems doing this. Do I need any harnesses for this? I heard you loose the Park. Is this true?

Thanks Dinan, Im talking about eliminating the old base with with the complete M5 system.Does anyone know if this will work?
