m5 seats
- Hey my brothers! how can I install m5 seats on 545i what kind of harness I need? Or who can help with this if you know mechanics around PA/NJ/NY or if I go bmw dealer can they install that?

You'll have to pull up the wiring diagrams for both seats and pin the connector correctly. Then see if the modules are the same or not. The dealership will not retrofit it more because they wouldn't know how to provide that type of retrofit service. If you do a search on this forum I believe someone has done it before

My Ride: 2003 E60 530i SE Auto, 2007 535d M Sport Auto
Model Year: 09/2003, 01/2007
Engine: M54B30, M57D30T1
I did this, I had them in my 530i first and they’re now in my 535d.
530i was plug and play because it already had full electric seats with memory function.
The 535d took some work because it had half electric seats with no memory. The connectors will need the pins rearranged for power. You will also need to install a LIN Bus wire from the seat heating/pdc control module to both front seats or the controls to adjust them will not operate.
They also need a CAN Bus connection which can be easily installed using the CAN cables running past the seats to the rear of the car. It’s just a case of tapping in to the cables. They’re a black and yellow twisted pair from memory.
Perhaps you could let us know what standard features your car has, that would indicate what type of job this will be.
