Now that it has stopped snowing in the NE (might hit 90 today) and I put my summer wheels/tires back on, I was going to tackle the Lidatek install. I followed the earlier threads, but I did not see any finished install.

If anyone out there has finished, can you please post picks and/or a detailed description.

Thanks in advance.

Yeap, I installed mine. I only took pictures of the bracket...but the pics in the other thread in this forum are pretty helpful. Let me know if you have any questions.

TitaniumGray5:

Did you run your wires back to the trunk as suggested in one ofthe threads, or did you go only from the engine compartment to the fuse box in the passenger compartment?

No need to run wires to the trunk. I put the control unit under the dash on the transmission tunnel and wired into power by soldering the leads onto the auxilliary power jack under the glove box. Its a switched power outlet, so it works great. I ran the wires into the engine compartment through the same grommet that the main wiring loom goes through on the drivers side. If you look from the engine compartment side after removing the interior air filter element you will see a rubber nipple protrusion from the large rubber grommet. I simply punched a small hole in that and fed the wires through and then taped it up tight with electical tape. I also removed the drivers side headlight to allow me to route the wires completely invisibly all the way to the lower front bumper. There is no visible sign of the installation either under the hood or inside the car.
