Chaps, I've searched on here for the best part of 2 hours now. I'm sure the search filters on this board don't like me or take just the first word.
Anyhoo, sometime ago, a nice chappie had posted a guide to fitting the SAT shifter to his LCI auto.
Can anyone help me find it please? Also, was there any further development getting the shifters behind the respective wheel to work?

You have to read the DIY thread carefully to realise that you do get full functionality of the sports button etc without any coding.
The coding just gives some display info.
