Yes, some members has done it ... It requires different plug so re-wiring must be done then re-programming to enable the LCI light to function properly ... so it's tricky.

What particular info other than what I've mentioned above? I've done it and so some other members too ... for further detail feel free to use the fully functional search.

U need the following:

NEW VERSION LCM to reprogram
LCI headlights
NEW VERSION Adaptive headlight module
LCI Taillights
BMW Retrofit cables (definitely not plug and play)
And ripping panels apart to wire the rear taillight cables to the front LCM located in the driver side left footwell. Also have to switch the cables in the taillight since it's crisscrossed. The color of the taillights do not match. U will see it when u do it.

If you have a 03/2005+ E60, u can reuse the ballast and bulbs. If not, u need to get the D1S bulbs, D1S bulb clip holder, and ballast.

be prepared to spend at LEAST $400 on labor (that's how much I would charge), $200 on programming (from the dealers depending on their hourly rate), LCM $400, LCI headlights used ($600), LCI Taillights used ($600), Adaptive headlight module $240, Retrofit cables $40. That's at least a $2000 upgrade.

Yes u will need the D1S clip holder, the bulb, and the ballast. The clip holder and ballast must be purchased from BMW. Bulb can be purchased from me.
