Anyway, just wanted to add: I really dig this color combo - the amethyst grey and grey leather

If you ask me, the boobs look like they're vertical

JK.

But the car is coming along quite nicely. Thanks for the photos on the DIY. It actually looks REALLY easy.

boob job? you crazy? i need to save all the money for the car

the material is very forgiving. check out this video:

i think it's a great DYI project. just grab a buddy (or a girlfriend with vertical boobs) and you're good to go..

great job on the install, but not feeling the look! I say leave the fake stuff for the other imports! just my opinion not trying to hate!

no worries.. it's cool ... different strokes for different fokes..

i actually prefer the 3M carbon over the real stuff. the texture and feel is actually very nice. the matte finish is also easier on the eye the regular glossy carbon fiber. plus it's a heck lot cheaper and easier to work with.

about 5 years ago, i wrapp a sportbike in real carbon.. took me over 100 hours! laying real fiberglass is a PITA and i never did it again. if i had to do it again, i'd definitely just wrap it in vinyl. personally, i don't think one is really 'better' than the other.

... can't believe i still have a picture of that bike on my computer...
