My Ride: 2006 525Xi
2001 Volvo V70 T5
1957 Higgins Sports Speed Speedster Deluxe - All Mahogany
Is this the correct part #65.11.0.036.448 for a 2006 525 Xi with navigation, with cd prep. (no cd player). Do I need to bring the car into the dealer for any updates if I install myself.

no, that part number is for cd changer. i just did mine and i have cd changer which was plug and play.
however, if you don't have cd changer, you will have to take yours to the dealer to have them program it even if you install the ipod interface yourself. below is the part you are looking for (i think this is the old part number, there is a new part number to this already)
