Just unscrew the turn signals off, pull off the bulb and replace. Really simple actually

hardest part is getting a good handle on the bulb base to turn...IIRC: I think there are instructions in your manual as well...

hte base of the bulb is just behind the headlight, did you open your hood and look in there for yourself?

AFAIK, no DIY has been posted for this, as it really is just a bulb swap, no headlight removal needed...again, have you looked at it for yourself?

again, per the manual: https://5series.net/information/2007..._Manual_US.pdf page224 provides a pretty good illustration of what you need to do...it's the same for any year e60...good luck

It depends on your hands. I started by not taking the headlights out, 40 minutes later, after scraping and frustration, I took both headlights out and replaced them both under 10 minutes.

I used a two hand technique, since the base has 4 flippers, I used the fingertips of both hands, one on a separate "flipper" of the base to counterforce the bulb base to turn,..worked very well for me...

Yeah I opened up the hood and changed my angel eyes yesterday and getting my bigass hands into that small ass hole to twist in a bulb was almost as annoying as Justin Bieber. I noticed a square cap that had a few tabs on the top but if I did unhook them from the tabs then it's impossible to lift the square cap out of the area because of the little room to work with. but maybe I need to open it up and pay more attention to that. I might've just over looked it since I was excited about the AE lol

removing the headlights isn't that hard either if you have the proper tools...there's a few good diy's on here as well as a vid or two on youtube IIRC.....
