I bought a CPO (100k BMW warranty) 2007 550i with just 15k on it in January for $38,000.

That wood is beautiful. It will grow on you if you give it time.
That was a very good deal.

The trim is just personal preference, like women, and I'll leave it there.

i don't think you can paint it, it wont stick.

i took my wood trim to a body shop and they told me they could try to paint it but it won't last long, the paint will come off the glossy surface

they'd have to sand the trim before they painted it....duh. surprised they didn't know that.

I guess dont go there for painting bumpers. I hope they sand everything down and prime too.

All u gotta do it remove the trim, sand it down, apply primer, then base coat, then clear. I did it with my lexus before and came out beautiful.

If the black one is in good condition I think it's way a better deal. Besides, it's black...
Black is the fastest color.

you have to pry out the headlight switch first, then unscrew the vent from the dash to get that one out.
Got it out, thanks!
Sorry to bug you again, but any clue on how to remove the panel where the rear cig lighters/AC chargers are, under the rear vents? do I need to remove the vents first? it's just clips or there's anything else to it?
