I got a Hamann style front lip for my 08 550I LCI with M-tech. I've seen lots of people with the same lip on here, but I'm not sure how to install it. It came with 8 nuts/bolts/washers and it is pre-drilled with 8 holes, but when I look on the underside of the front bumper I notice no holes or mounting points. I lined it all up and the fit looks pretty good and it is a nice piece, I would just love some direction so I can get this thing mounted.

Thanks

I decided to jack the car up today and check it out. To me, check it out always turns into do the whole thing at that moment. I figured I needed to drill holes so I aligned it and used some wood blocks under each side to wedge under it and prop it in place. Then I drilled the holes and bolted it on. Pulling off and then re-installing all of the sheilding beneath to get your hands inside the bumper was easily the majority of the work.

I have to get back inside the wheel well to install painted reflectors soon, and when I do that I'll probably go back in and put some larger washers on the bolts for the front lip. The ones it came with were pretty small and spreading out the area where all the stress will be would be better.
