How to remove crome window/door trim

My Ride: 2004 520i, mystic blue, steptronic, beige leather, pdc, bluetooth, rain sensor, BMW sport kit fitted, 18" 166 rep BMW rims , de-badged, cherished reg. chrome grill,
Has anyone removed the crome window/door trim I was considering removing mine and painting it black, I have already painted the grill black and as this is the last piece of crome I wanted to do it
Would like practical instructions

Plus, no need to dismantle nothing, enytime you want the chrome back, unstick and the chrome will be like new.

No, of course not.
It is a bit difficult process, even for me, whereas it's my job, but not impossible.
I accomplished it by the second attempt (on one window). The first was not bad, but not perfect.
The next was easier and easier and so on. You must first give some tries.
So, you must have more stripes than the ones you really want. I'd say twice.
The cost at a sign making store should be no more than 30 Euros for double the stripes you want.
It is very important to have the exact width for each part (down and round part) and well cleaned chromes.
The most difficult part is the rear window curve. I did it on summer so with higher temperatures the material was more flexible on the curves, but you can do the curves on winter with a hair drier.
Anyway, you must be patience, not scared, (you can unstick it all the way back and try it again)
I'll post some pictures later. It's unbelievable true. It's like original.
