How to change chrome trims to shadowline???

My Ride: BMW E60 520i se genuine m sport kit,18" M6 Wheels, reverse camera, lcd headrests,dvd player, multimedia device

i recentley had my e60 in the body shop having the m sport kit fitted but when i got it back the chrome trim round the windows started to grate on me as it seemed to ruin the m sport look so i phoned bmw dealer and they wanted over £200 for the shadowline kit so instead i decided id remove it and paint it my self and i must say im very please with the results, if any one is thinking about doing this just make sure that you buy a good binding primer so that the paint doesnot chip off easy and id recoment a satin black paint as that matchs the door and wing mirror plastics
