How to access AC evaporator.

I have a 2004 E60
Does anyone know where the best place is for me to access the AC evaporator, the outside air intake and the microfilter?
Since BMW failed to correct my AC odor problem (it came back in 4 weeks), I'm planning on trying one of the aftermarket products.
