I am referring to the storage tray under the headlight switch.. I've loosened all four screw but it would come off... what else needed? Do i need to renove the steering cover underneath it too?

Take a look at the part (part number 2) in the following diagram:

The numbers in circles represent screws (listed on the right side in boxes).

Are you removing all of them?

rudy my 2005 545 doesnt have the tray does yours

Neither does mine Bob, the storage is only available outside North America...the original poster has one and is trying to remove it, from what I understand...
