I got 166 19`inch rim. They looks nice but not very durable. Recent misjudge a corner and hitted the kerb leaving an ugly scratch mark on it with paints off.
Is there a way to do DIY fix ? what should i get ? Suggestion welcome. My friend check with dealer, they can take the rim and repaint it, but costs 400 AUD. I am looking for a cheaper alternative. I will post photo later. |
I did something similar here in Uk. I tried DIY but had no luck. Looked bad!.
I used a company called ChipsAway here, which is a mobile service. It cost ?50 but I cannot see where they repaired it, 1st class job. |
Maybe this will help:
http://www.bmwtips.com/tipsntricks/wheel-r...cuff-repair.htm Also i have an ugly scratched rim like the one in the link but on 80% of the radius but i didn't find the proper repair items. Maybe there where the market is developed you'll have better luck. Cheers! |
