Has anyone experience of removing the head lining. In fact I don't want to remove it completely, just enough so that dent master can get his magical tools behind a couple of small dents I have in the roof. I think these dents were caused by falling conkers!!! Do the edges unclip easily? Once unclipped, do they clip back easily?

Someone will chime in with the answer but I'll be the one who asks " what the hell is a falling conker " ?
Good luck

I will do it soon then ask them for pics.

I have seen it, very easy job for an expert.

Airbags stay there where they are, battery off... we will let the airbags sewed around by hand so they can explode when needed, GOD hope never need to use 'em.

Then they by item by item and section reinstall the whole thing=roof panels, doors etc, and there is no need for recoding.

Conker - seed of the Horse Chestnut Tree.
A hard nut, about half the size of a golf ball.
Is the UK the only country with conkers?

Rudy,
Thanks for that. It seems I have to undo a few screws and slide it forward. Not what I was hoping for. I just wanted to unpop it locally so that dent master could get his tools in. Sliding it forward sounds like the whole head liner will come down. Thankfully I don't have a sun roof.
Thanks Rudy,
Keith

Where are the dents? Maybe you can remove the housing for the rear lights (and motion sensor if you have the alarm) and have the dent guy insert the tools from there?
