Someone tried to beak into my car and fiddled with the ignition. So my key is now a little loose. I checked with the SA and he said it just needs a ignition cylinder replace. The labor is twice the cost of the part ($90)...wondering if anyone has done it themself?

I can't confirm if the retrofit would work but I'm pretty sure that late production pre-LCI cars had the push buttton start. Push button start has no connection to CA, you can get it with or without that option...

i have not done this myself, but my colleague has, he said it was plug and go.and if you try to start your car with the KEY...just turn the key a little and let go (before it starts) you will see that it will start just like a push button...try it.
you dont need to hold the key untill she fires up.
