any members own one? If so, where did you get it? i've been looking on ebay for some and i have found some as low as 400$. For 120$/hr programming, i'd rather do it myself.

bought it from ebay for 499 USD several weeks ago but haven't try to play with it till now...

I know there's a shop in NY that has one for sure. pm member brabusx209amg, I think it was him that posted about a shop in NY. Also, haven't heard too many good things about the one's on ebay....

Damnnnn... are you sure GENEaTALS??? I haven't try it because im not confident enough to plug the OBD socket and do something with my car...

i have the bavarian technic tool... works good for reseting and ready errors but i wish i had and knew how to code simple stuff like the MP3 retrofit and so fourth.

the BT tool is the way to go... Much cheaper and user friendly IMO...

try it out...it's not like it's going to fry your car by just plugging it in...

if you aren't comfortable plugging it up to your car why did you purchase it

have you ever used the program function on the BT.. i diddnt buy that option cause it was wayyyy to expensive..

I'm fully capable of using a scan tool. I work in this field for a living, so user friendly isnt a big issue to me. Its a matter of spending the $ and was it worth the $ is what i'm trying to find out.
