One yank guys, one hard yank per side!

 

Thanks Olli this was helpful. I just needed to pull a bunch of leaves and a dead bird off my radiator; I'll think about black grills later. I did the Torx screws not the yank.

My car has T27 screws, not T30 for whatever reason.

 

This was helpfull, i did manage to get my hand in there while using a large screw driver to hold the gap open, things were going well untill the screw driver fell out and the plastic bit that was pulled back then sprung back trapping my fingers, at this point i had removed some of the clips so just grabbed the grill in frustration and yanked the mother out, but its all done now

Great post! Just changed mine out in about 20 minutes, with no damage or injuries... while the storm disaster sirens were going off outside :-)
