Anybody got a guide on how to install the gp thunder 8500k on a 08 550i? How am I supposed to get those lights installed in that small a** hole with my big fingers?

try backing the light bulbs in..hold the base of the bulb like a cigarette, with the light bulb facing you, maneuver the light bulb in rear first, then when you get the whole light bulb in the light housing, just push the bulb forward into the whole.

this is the first time I've read of someone having trouble getting the bulb in, you should see how tight the fit is in the e9x models

 

Or you can try removing the headlights which is pretty easy to do if your fingers don't fit.

 

Thanks for the link. I don't know what I was looking at when I first started. Got them on quickly despite my big hands. Pretty good for a $20 upgrade
