Guys,
I have searched this forum and many others exhaustively. I am about to come to blows with my current OEM grill on my car in an attempt to exchange that one for some gloss black replacements. How in the world do you separate that thing from the car? I have removed the weather stripping and have the top three tabs loose, but the bottom won't bundge. Does anyone have any actual pictures of this and how to do it. This 15 min fix had cost me 2 hours thus far and no luck...any help is appreciated. Thanks

Here's what you need to do after you've done the above. Make sure the top three tabs are depressed and pushed out again. To remove, reach a hand behind the bars, get a good grip... and then yank out HARD in one motion. It literally should pop right out.
Unless someone can say or demonstrate otherwise, I have done this method a number of times, and it has always worked without any damage.

I had my buddy come over to assist and he was able to walk me through it. I guess I was a little hesistant to go yanking on the original grill for fear of breaking it, but it worked. Thanks for your help.

It looks like you're all set..but in case others need a visual step-by-step on removing the grilles.. I always refer to this from the RPi website http://raceprecision.com/forums/view...6d3f8306a8d5d9
The instructions are for installing the RPi air scoop, but it gives instructions on removing the grilles first...
