My passenger side low beam is on and off intermittently when the headlights are on. It seems to go on for a little bit when I first put the headlights on, and then goes out after a little while, then sometimes flickers on and off, other times just stays off until the end of the journey or until I switch lights off and on again.

Sometimes I'll get an iDrive error stating "right low beam failure."

I don't think it's the bulb or whatever...it seems like a loose connection or something.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

exactly what you said. a loose connection. open her up and make sure the bulb is fitted properly in the socket and connected properly.

Just ordered two new sylvania D2S bulbs and will replace next week.

Does anyone know of a way to change out the bulbs without removing the whole headlamp assembley?

Thanks.

If you hand smaller enough and finger longer enough. Then you can . Better removing out for easy replace.

Any tricks to pulling the headlamp assemblies, or is it pretty straighforward?

I finally got to replace the passenger side bulb. Getting the headlight assembly out was pretty easy, no scratches, so that's good. Took about 15 minutes for this novice. It also solved the flickering headlight problem.

Thanks for everyone's advice here.
