Way easier if I can get the ones from Radio Shack but since there is none around my way, Im out of luck . I dont want to complicate it by adding resistors, already complicated enough. Is anybody willing to go to Radio Shack and ship to me here in Toronto area......pls!!!
I've done this mod to my car with no complications.I've used superflux leds with 3mm( as original led)-but it also fits 5mm dome.In my case no resistors required, and still working for about 6 month.

nigxdoof: did you ever actually test the voltage that is going through when the car is on? I should've done it last time, but I forgot.

Yup I did. I had to do this because a few blew out on some clients headlights.
